1/30 List 20 random facts about me.

1. I cooked my first turkey ever this past Christmas of 2011, along with hosting our very first Christmas in our new house.  The picture above looks like the turkey sunk in. I should have gotten a picture straight out of the oven. Ah well, lesson learned.
2. I love to bake! Lately, because of time, I haven't been able to really bake much. But when I'm in my zone, I will start creating things in the kitchen. I love looking at recipes and seeing if I can add my own personal touch to make it just mine.
3. I stress out way to easily. I think that is the reason I love my husband so much, he evens the crazy out and dials me down as much as he can when I get really bad.
4. I am a city girl being schooled in country life, or should I say "small town" life. I have lived in Dallas all my life. Then I get married to a guy that loves the country. Well, we found a great house in a town about an hour south of Dallas called Scurry. It is a small town of under 500 people. I'm getting used to the hour drive to work, and not having a Walmart closer than 10 minutes away, but it looks like we will be there for a long time, so I'm getting used to it.
5.  I don't usually wear makeup. I just don't feel the need for it.
6. I have really blue eyes.
7. I'm probably the most truthful person I know. I don't feel the need to lie, it just comes back to bite you in the butt in the end. 
8. I am a scrapper. I just recently in the past year have been meeting with my mother in law and family and their friends and all we do is scrapbook (and eat... and chat...)! I may be one of the youngest in the room, but I don't care! I have made a lot of friends in the process and I am accomplishing something that I will cherish forever. 
9. I love going to garage sales. You never know what you will find. 
10. I love to read, I'm currently on the 3rd book of the Hunger Games trilogy.
11. Driving relaxes me. One of the reasons, I don't really mind the hour drive to and from work and home.
12. I met my husband through craigslist. Best thing I found yet!
13. I'm addicted to reality shows. Teen Mom, 16 and Pregnant, Keeping up with the Kardashians, yeah, those are just a few my husband makes me turn off once he comes in the room. I'm sorry, its like a trainwreck... you can't not watch!
14. I have not changed a tire... yet. I may learn this soon. My car seems to hate tires.
15. I have dreams of being a professional photographer. Its always been in the back of my head, I want to make it a reality.
16. I always will be a fan of Nsync, Backstreet Boys, and Britney Spears. I may not gush about them anymore, but I don't turn their music off.
17. I wish I was better at math.
18. I would rather be barefoot.
19. My favorite movie is Selena. Though, I didn't really know who she was until after her passing. Her story was amazing how she broke through all the barriers that were around her. Simply amazing!
20. Sonic Cherry Limeades are my cure for a terrible day.
